Purpose of Post:

This post is funded by the Henry Smith Foundation. The Wellbeing Officer will help increase the number of support sessions delivered to care experienced young people. The position will provide wellbeing support to care experienced population across South East Wales. Members of the care-experienced community often require significant support, which they can struggle to access due to a lack of family/social networks. Each Wellbeing Officer will work collaboratively to assist in increasing support networks across the region and provide suitable advice and support to enable voices of care experienced children and young people to be heard.

Purpose of post:

The Volunteering Development Officer will be involved in the day to day connecting, building and sustaining relationships with lived experience adults in Wales through the development of our network. They will also be working with our existing membership of care experienced young people to connect with Care Experienced Network activities and members. This role will be organizing and facilitating ‘meet ups’ in addition to leading on the project’s communications.
